Parque das Nações hosted a qualifying round for the Pump Track World Championships, the “Red Bull UCI Pump Track World Championships,” which took place for the first time in Lisbon at the new Pump Track in Parque das Nações—the largest track in Portugal for this sport and one of the largest in Europe.

The new track, located next to the Vasco da Gama Bridge and the Parque das Nações skate park, offers a phenomenal scenic setting, with a view of the bridge and the Tagus River that will leave anyone speechless.
The Pump Track at Parque das Nações is open to the public starting October 19. Next to the main track (for competitions), the facility features a practice track.
