
The first major novelty of TEDxMarvila is the presence of the Mayor of Lisbon, Carlos Moedas, as a speaker at the first edition of this all-English event .
It will take place at the historic Convento do Beato, on March 1, between 8am and 7pm, and will bring together national and international speakers to explore the theme “The Art of Being Human”, which promises to inspire reflections on the human experience, creativity and innovation.
Carlos Moedas will open the event with a talk on the importance of a world in constant evolution.
Other speakers will follow, such as Anna Kozlova, a molecular scientist , António Amaral, an advocate of social inclusion, and Teresa Vitória, an interior designer renowned for her innovative work. In addition to the usual and well-known talks, TEDxMarvila will also feature a diverse program:
- Art exhibition “The Heart of Being Human”
- Dance and singing performances
- Poetry recitals
- Premiere of the film “Being Human”, created for TEDxMarvila
- Spaces dedicated to networking and exchanging ideas
