Remember the “santódromo” that was set up in the first year of Santos no Tejo? Well, that name no longer exists and has now given way to Santos na Doca da Marinha, which this year celebrates its 4th edition, from June 4th to 21st.
Quickly considered one of the city’s most emblematic festivals, as it stood out for its comfort and safety, the Santos na Doca da Marinha continues to be welcoming and maintain the traditional spirit of the Lisbon Festivities.
Limited capacity
In a completely fenced enclosure, with a capacity for 1,500 people, this will be one of the most “controlled” festiv als in Lisbon, allowing for a tranquillity and security unlike any other festival spread throughout the city, being ensured by a self-protection plan, a first aid team and special attention to accessibility.
Santos na Doca da Marinha will take place from June 4 (until June 21) near the kiosks, on Thursdays and Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and the eve of public holidays, bringing lots of beer and traditional grilled sardines to the Tagus, but also other snacks such as bifanas and farturas. Don’t forget the privileged view of Alfama, one of the capital’s most picturesque neighborhoods.
The musical program for Santos at Doca da Marinha
We all know that Santos calls for a lot of food and drink, but music is the real centerpiece of every arraial, it’s the main attraction of these festivities.

- June 5: DJ Viegas
- June 6: Disquedisse
- June 7: Memo à Tuga
- June 8: Zé Pedro Sousa
