Forget the biker helmets and industrial aesthetic—at least for now. Rosalía, the famous Catalan singer, kicked off the “Lux Tour” in Lyon, France, on March 16, unveiling a visual aesthetic that stands in stark contrast to the “Motomami” phenomenon. With our eyes set on the concerts at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, we analyzed the details of the first night of the world tour to whet your appetite for what’s to come.
How was the first show?

With a sold-out concert at the LDLac Arena in Lyon (France), the Catalan singer (who, at 33, is at the peak of her creative powers) appeared on stage in a giant box dressed as a ballerina, foreshadowing several lyrical moments and an unprecedented theatrical aesthetic. “Sexo, Violencia Y Llantas” kicked off the show on a night marking the official start of Rosalía’s longest tour to date.
The artist, whose creativity extends beyond any trivial categorization, treated the audience to tracks from her latest album “Lux,” released in 2025, as well as songs from “Motomami”and even a surprising cover of “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.”
