On July 9, 10, and 11, the Algés Seafront Promenade will once again host NOS Alive, with over 39 hours of programming spread across eight stages, featuring music, comedy, and literature.
The venue opens daily at 3 p.m. and closes at 4 a.m., with last entry 15 minutes before closing. The minimum age for admission is 6 years old, and all children of that age or older must have a valid ticket.
Tickets still available

Demand for NOS Alive 2026 has been high. July 10 and 11 are already sold out, as are the two- and three-day passes. The only ticket still available is the single-day pass for the first day of the festival, July 9, on sale on the official website for €84.
How do I exchange my pass for a wristband?
If you have a two- or three-day pass, you must exchange it for a wristband. You can do this inside the venue on the first day you enter, or—to avoid lines—in advance at the information desk at the Alegro Alfragide Shopping Center on July 8 and 9, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Concerts not to be missed
With a lineup this stellar, the hard part is choosing which concerts to see. Even so, here are a few that we consider absolute must-sees:
Foo Fighters — the Seattle band’s return to the NOS Stage is one of the most anticipated moments of the second day (July 10), with a setlist packed with hits spanning three decades of their career.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds — the Australian singer-songwriter’s concerts often go far beyond the usual format, with a dramatic intensity that has become the hallmark of his live performances.
Buraka Som Sistema — the Portuguese band’s return marks two decades in the music industry and promises to be one of the festival’s biggest party moments, near the end of the final day.
Zara Larsson — the Swedish pop artist brings to the Heineken Stage a collection of hits that have made her one of the most popular voices in international pop.
Lorde — the New Zealand singer returns to Portugal with her signature art-pop style, after years of building a close relationship with the Portuguese audience.
How do I get to the Algés Seafront Promenade?

The most efficient way to get to the venue is to take the CP Cascais Line to Algés Station, which is just a few minutes’ walk from the festival via the underpass. You can also take the Carris 15E tram, departing from Praça da Figueira, or the Carris Metropolitana buses, which also serve Algés.
For the early-morning return home, CP will increase service with special trains on the Cascais Line:
- Algés – Cais do Sodré: 1:45 a.m., 2:15 a.m., 2:30 a.m., 3:00 a.m., 3:30 a.m., and 4:00 a.m., in the early morning hours of July 10, 11, and 12
- Algés – Cascais: 2:00 a.m., 2:15 a.m., 2:30 a.m., 3:00 a.m., 3:30 a.m., and 4:00 a.m., in the early morning hours of July 10, 11, and 12
- Lisbon Santa Apolónia – Porto Campanhã: departs at 3:20 a.m. in the early hours of July 10 and 12, and at 2:45 a.m. in the early hours of July 11
- On July 11 (Saturday, the festival’s final day), there will also be extra trains departing from Cais do Sodré bound for Algés at 6:30 p.m., 6:50 p.m., 7:10 p.m., 7:20 p.m., and 7:40 p.m.
Ongoing construction work on the Cascais Line will also be suspended on these dates to restore normal train service between Cais do Sodré and Caxias. Carris also provides a shuttle every night to Santa Apolónia Station after the concerts end on the NOS Stage, departing from the parking lot next to La Siesta restaurant, outside the venue—intended for those taking the special train to Porto.
If you prefer a taxi or TVDE, keep in mind that fares tend to skyrocket on these nights and that pickup points are usually located outside the venue’s security perimeter.
Traffic closures: what’s changing on these days
Those traveling by car should be aware of several traffic restrictions. There will be a complete road closure on the downbound lane of the IC17/CRIL, between the Miraflores Interchange and the roundabout near Av. Brasília, from 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM in the early morning hours of July 9, 10, and 11. In addition, starting at 3:00 p.m. on each festival day, heavy traffic and slow-moving traffic are expected on Av. Brasília, Av. Marginal (between Algés and Alto da Boa Viagem), the IC17/CRIL overpass in Algés, and Praça D. Manuel I.
As an alternative, travelers should preferably use the A5, N117/Belém, and N6-3 (Alto da Boa Viagem) routes. The PSP will also set up a special security operation throughout the three days of the festival, which is expected to draw around 60,000 visitors per day; therefore, using public transportation remains the strongest recommendation for those who want to avoid traffic.
These items are not allowed
To ensure everyone’s safety, there is a list of items that are not allowed inside the NOS Alive venue:
- Firearms or bladed weapons, pocket knives, chains, belts, or pointed bracelets
- Explosive or pyrotechnic materials
- Reusable metal or aluminum bottles, cans, and glass cups; beverages, food boxes, lunchboxes, or rigid containers
- Chairs of any kind
- Flashlights, lasers, and helmets
- Selfie sticks or rigid poles
- Professional cameras or video cameras with interchangeable lenses
- Audio recorders and musical instruments
- Umbrellas and large suitcases
If you bring any of these items, there is a paid coat check next to the Welcome Center, near the outdoor ticket booths, at a cost of 1€ per item.
You’ll be able to watch the concerts on TV
As in previous years, RTP will provide television coverage of the festival, featuring live broadcasts, behind-the-scenes interviews, and the opportunity to follow various concerts in greater detail via the RTP Play platform.
