The NOS Alive machine has already started and several names are already known for the 2026 edition, which will return to the Passeio Marítimo de Algés on July 9, 10 and 11.
The return of Portugal’s Buraka Som Sistema was the first to be confirmed at the launch of the next edition, followed by the return to Lisbon of the iconic Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, who will bring their monumental new show to the capital, which mixes a lot of theatrics with the singer’s greatest hits.
Florence + The Machine will once again bring Florence Welch’s stunning voice to Algés, this time with a new album in tow . The Pixies, meanwhile, are bringing their 40-year career to Lisbon in what is expected to be a very special concert.
More recently, the Foo Fighters were announced as one of the main headliners of this summer’s music festival, as they are one of the hottest rock bands of the moment.

NOS Stage

Some artists and bands have already been confirmed for the 2026 edition, with the return of Portugal’s Buraka Som Sistema being one of the most curious major confirmations for the main stage.
July 9th:
Twenty One Pilots
Twenty One Pilots are the latest confirmation for NOS Alive, who will make their absolute debut at the festival on July 9, 2026. GRAMMY winners and multiple record holders, such as the hits “Stressed Out” and “Heathens”, the duo will bring to Portugal the tour that follows the release of the album Breach (2025), which closes the conceptual saga that began with Blurryface.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are one of the big confirmations for 2026, standing out as one of the key names in contemporary music. Known for their intense compositions and emotive performances, they offer a profound and poetic contrast to an already plural line-up.
July 10th:
Foo Fighters
The North American Foo Fighters are finally returning to Portugal and closing their European “Take Cover Tour” in Lisbon, at the NOS Alive 2026 festival, on July 10. Led by Dave Grohl, the “undisputed kings of stadium rock” promise a performance of “sweeping intensity”, bringing many of their hits as well as new singles to the Passeio Marítimo de Algés venue.
Wolf Alice
The Brits Wolf Alice are the first confirmation for July 10 at NOS Alive 2026, and they’re bringing a new album to perform. Winner of a BRIT Award and the Mercury Prize, she returns to Portugal to present her fourth studio album, “The Clearing”, promising one of the most eagerly awaited shows of the event.
July 11th:
Teddy Swims
The global phenomenon of “Lose Control” makes his debut at the next edition of NOS Alive. Teddy Swims, one of the most listened to voices of 2024 and a global R&B phenomenon, has been confirmed and his performance will come at the peak of his career, driven by the worldwide hit “Lose Control”, a song that has already reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it has become the longest-running song of all time, accumulating more than 4 billion streams. Swims also brings his acclaimed album “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy – Complete Edition”.
Lorde
Four years later, the cultural force of pop is coming back. Lorde returned in a big way with “What Was That”, the first single from her new album “Virgin”, and immediately topped the charts, reaching #1 on Spotify in the USA. Consolidating her status as an icon with a unique sound, the artist, who has already racked up almost 200 million streams with her new songs, is preparing to present the eagerly awaited album in Portugal on July 11.
Pixies
The American band, iconic for its fusion of alternative and indie rock, whose legacy continues to influence generations. The announcement marks the group’s return to Lisbon, with the promise of revisiting classics and presenting new songs, in an exclusive record that will mark the 40th anniversary of the group’s career.
Florence + The Machine
Led by the charismatic Florence Welch, renowned for the intensity of her performances and her unique vocals, the British artist brings to NOS Alive 2026 a show that combines dramatic atmosphere with contagious energy.
Buraka Som Sistema
One of the highlights of NOS Alive 2026 will be Buraka Som Sistema’s reunion with the Portuguese public. The band, which marked a generation by bringing progressive Kuduro to stages all over the world, returns for a concert that promises maximum energy and plenty of dance anthems.
Heineken Stage

The first names for NOS Alive 2026’s secondary stage, the Heineken Stage, which offers increasingly spectacular concerts, have already begun to be announced.
July 9th:
Dogstar
Keanu Reeves brings Dogstar to Portugal for the first time at NOS Alive 2026. The alternative rock band of the famous actor (who plays bass) is scheduled to perform on July 9 at the Heineken Stage. This unprecedented show in the country comes after the band’s long-awaited return to the stage in 2023, more than two decades after their hiatus. The trio is bringing their new album, “Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees”, promising an energetic performance that marks a new chapter in their history.
Matt Berninger
The lead singer of The National has announced a new solo album, “Get Sunk”, and revealed a secret passion for painting. On July 9 he will join Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, but on another stage, the Heineken Stage.
July 10th:
Jehnny Beth
Newly confirmed for NOS Alive 26’s Heineken Stage, performing on July 10, Jehnny Beth, known for her charisma and former lead singer of Savages, and for collaborations with the likes of Idles and Gorillaz, recently gained global prominence for her role in the Oscar-winning film “Anatomy of a Fall”. Beth will bring to Portugal the energy of her cathartic new album, “You Heartbreaker, You”.
The War on Drugs
The acclaimed rock band, led by GRAMMY Award winner Adam Granduciel, is the latest confirmation for NOS Alive, taking to the Heineken Stage on July 10. Known for albums such as “A Deeper Understanding” and for their intense and hypnotic live performances, the Americans bring their expansive sound to the Passeio Marítimo de Algés, in one of the most eagerly awaited concerts of the edition.
July 11th:
Florence Road
The group, made up of Lily Aron, Emma Brandon, Ailbhe Barry and Hannah Kelly, has been praised by international magazines and has already won over a large audience even before releasing their first mixtape, “Fall Back”, scheduled for June 20. With a sound that mixes Indie Rock, Grunge and Alt-Pop, the band’s songs explore themes of youth with emotional intensity and authenticity. Irish band Florence Road has been confirmed to perform on July 11 on the Heineken Stage at NOS Alive 26.
WTF Clubbing

This stage is the perfect meeting point for those who want to dance until dawn. With a line-up that mixes the freshest names on the electronic scene with established DJs, this stage transforms the festival into an authentic open-air dance floor, where the energy never runs out and the rhythm dictates the party.

Ticket prices
These are, for now, the first confirmations for one of Lisbon’s biggest music festivals, but we expect to announce more news at least until Christmas, when ticket sales for NOS Alive are expected to increase.
Tickets for the festival are already on sale, at prices ranging from 84€ (one day), 168€ (2-day pass) and 199€ (3-day pass).
