The NOS Alive machine has already started and several names are already known for the 2026 edition, which will return to the Passeio Marítimo de Algés on July 9, 10, and 11.
The return of Portuguese band Buraka Som Sistema was the first confirmation when the next edition was announced, followed by the return to Lisbon of the iconic Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, who will bring their new and monumental show to the capital, mixing a lot of theatricality with this singer’s greatest hits.
Florence + The Machine brings the stunning voice of Florence Welch back to Algés, this time with a new album in tow. The Pixies, meanwhile , bring their 40-year career celebration to Lisbon in what is expected to be a very special concert.
More recently, the Foo Fighters were announced as one of the main headliners of this summer music festival, as they are one of the hottest rock bands of the moment.

Some artists and bands have already been confirmed for the 2026 edition , with the return of Portuguese band Buraka Som Sistema being one of the most intriguing big confirmations for the main stage.
July 9:
A Perfect Circle
This is the latest big confirmation for the NOS Stage on July 9. Led by Maynard James Keenan, the influential alternative rock band (known for iconic albums such as Mer de Noms) will share the stage with the already announced Twenty One Pilots and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. Twenty One Pilots are the latest confirmation for NOS Alive, making their debut at the festival on July 9, 2026. The American band Foo Fighters finally return to Portugal and close their European “Take Cover Tour” in Lisbon, at the NOS Alive 2026 festival, on July 10. Led by Dave Grohl, the “undisputed kings of stadium rock” promise a performance of “overwhelming intensity,” bringing many of their hits, as well as new singles, to the Passeio Marítimo de Algés venue.
Skunk Anansie
Skin’s explosive return takes place on July 10. The iconic British band is one of the latest big names to be confirmed for the NOS Stage. Led by the incomparable Skin, Skunk Anansie brings its 30-year career celebration to the Passeio Marítimo de Algés , promising an “explosive fusion” of rock and punk. Wolf Alice

Teddy Swims, one of the most listened to voices of 2024 and a global R&B phenomenon, has been confirmed and his performance will come at the height of his career, driven by the worldwide hit “Lose Control,” a song that has already reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it became the longest-running song ever, accumulating more than 4 billion streams. Swims also brings his acclaimed album “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy – Complete Edition.”
Lorde
Four years later, the cultural force of Pop is back. Alessi Rose

Ticket prices
These are, for now,the firstconfirmations for one of the biggest music festivals in Lisbon, but we hope to announce more news by Christmas at the latest, when ticket sales for NOS Alive are expected to peak.
