Today, May 14, the latest news and confirmations were announced for the 2026 edition, which will return to the Algés Promenade on July 9, 10, and 11.
If you recall, the return of the Portuguese band Buraka Som Sistema was the first confirmation for NOS Alive 2026, followed by the return to Lisbon of the iconic Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, who will bring their new, monumental show to the capital—a performance that blends plenty of theatricality with the singer’s greatest hits.
Florence + The Machine will once again bring Florence Welch’s dazzling voice to Algés, this time with a new album in tow. Meanwhile , the Pixies are coming to Lisbon to celebrate their 40-year career with a concert that is expected to be truly special.
More recently, the Foo Fighters were announced as one of the main headliners of this summer music festival, as they are one of the hottest rock bands of the moment.

Today, in a small room at the Palácio Anjos in Algés—which couldn’t accommodate all the press, sponsors, partners, and some artists— Álvaro Covões, the event’s organizer, announced some surprises and the latest confirmations: namely, the artists yet to be revealed for the Coreto, Galp Fado Café, and Comédia stages.

For the 2026 edition , some artists and bands have already been confirmed, with the return of the Portuguese group Buraka Som Sistema being one of the most intriguing major confirmations for the main stage.
July 9:
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are one of the major headliners confirmed for 2026, standing out as one of the key names in contemporary music. Known for their intense compositions and emotional performances, they offer a profound and poetic contrast to an already diverse lineup.
Twenty One Pilots
Twenty One Pilots are the latest act confirmed for NOS Alive, making their festival debut on July 9, 2026. Grammy winners and holders of multiple records, including the hits “Stressed Out” and “Heathens,” the duo will bring to Portugal the tour following the release of their album *Breach* (2025), which concludes the conceptual saga that began with *Blurryface*.
A Perfect Circle
This is the latest blockbuster announcement for the NOS Stage on July 9. Led by Maynard James Keenan, the influential alternative rock band (known for iconic albums such as *Mer de Noms*) will share the stage with the previously announced Twenty One Pilots and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. The Royston Club

Foo Fighters
The American band Foo Fighters are finally returning to Portugal and will wrap up their European “Take Cover Tour” in Lisbon at the NOS Alive 2026 festival on July 10. Led by Dave Grohl, the “undisputed kings of stadium rock” promise a performance of “overwhelming intensity,” bringing many of their hits—as well as new singles—to the Passeio Marítimo de Algés venue.
Wolf Alice
The British band Wolf Alice is the first act confirmed for July 10 at NOS Alive 2026, and they’ll be showcasing a new album. Winners of a BRIT Award and the Mercury Prize, they return to Portugal to present their fourth studio album, “The Clearing,” promising one of the most anticipated shows of the festival.
The Warning
The powerful Mexican rock trio The Warning will make their debut on the NOS Stage at the NOS Alive festival on July 10. Teddy Swims, one of the most-streamed artists of 2024 and a global R&B sensation, has been confirmed, and his performance will come at the height of his career, fueled by the worldwide hit “Lose Control”— a song that has reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it became the longest-charting track of all time, amassing over 4 billion streams. Don West
The confirmation of Don West on the NOS Stage on July 11 raises the bar even higher for this music festival. Matt Berninger
The lead singer of The National has announced a new solo album, “Get Sunk,” and revealed a secret passion for painting. On July 9, he’ll join Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, but on a different stage—the Heineken Stage.
Dogstar
Keanu Reeves is bringing Dogstar to Portugal for their debut performance at NOS Alive 2026. The famous actor’s alternative rock band (in which he plays bass) is scheduled to perform on July 9 at the Heineken Stage. This first-ever show in the country follows the band’s highly anticipated return to the stage in 2023, more than two decades after their hiatus. The trio is bringing their new album, “Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees,” promising an energetic performance that marks a new chapter in their history.
Alabama Shakes
Alabama Shakes have confirmed their return to the stage and will perform on July 9 at the Heineken Stage at NOS Alive’26. Zara Larsson

The group, consisting of Lily Aron, Emma Brandon, Ailbhe Barry, and Hannah Kelly, has been praised by international magazines and has already won over a large audience even before releasing their first mixtape, “Fall Back,” scheduled for June 20. With a sound that blends indie rock, grunge, and alt-pop, the band’s songs explore themes of youth with emotional intensity and authenticity. The Irish band Florence Road has been confirmed to perform on July 11 on the Heineken Stage at NOS Alive 26.
Alessi Rose
British star Alessi Rose, who has opened for Dua Lipa, will perform on the Heineken Stage on July 11, marking her absolute debut on Portuguese soil. Ticket Prices
These are, for now,the firstconfirmations for one of Lisbon’s biggest music festivals, but we hope to announce more news, at least by Christmas, when ticket sales for NOS Alive are expected to pick up.
