Today, May 14, the latest news and confirmations were announced for the 2026 edition, which will return to the Algés Promenade on July 9, 10, and 11.
If you recall, the return of the Portuguese band Buraka Som Sistema was the first confirmation for NOS Alive 2026, followed by the return to Lisbon of the iconic Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, who will bring their new and monumental show to the capital, blending plenty of theatricality with the singer’s greatest hits.
Florence + The Machine brings Florence Welch’s stunning voice back to Algés, this time with a new album in tow. Meanwhile , the Pixies are bringing their 40th-anniversary celebration to Lisbon for what is expected to be a very special concert.
More recently, the Foo Fighters were announced as one of the main headliners of this summer music festival, as they are one of the hottest rock bands of the moment.

Today, in a small room at the Palácio Anjos in Algés—which couldn’t accommodate all the press, sponsors, partners, and some artists— Álvaro Covões, the event’s organizer, announced some surprises and the latest confirmations: namely, the artists yet to be revealed for the Coreto, Galp Fado Café, and Comédia stages.

Foo Fighters
The American band Foo Fighters are finally returning to Portugal and will wrap up their European “Take Cover Tour” in Lisbon at the NOS Alive 2026 festival on July 10. Led by Dave Grohl, the “undisputed kings of stadium rock” promise a performance of “overwhelming intensity,” bringing many of their hits—as well as new singles—to the Passeio Marítimo de Algés venue.
Wolf Alice
British band Wolf Alice is the first act confirmed for July 10 at NOS Alive 2026, and they’re bringing a new album to showcase. Winners of a BRIT Award and the Mercury Prize, they return to Portugal to present their fourth studio album, “The Clearing,” promising one of the most anticipated shows of the festival.
The Warning
The powerful Mexican rock trio The Warning will make their debut on the NOS Stage at the NOS Alive festival on July 10. Alabama Shakes

With a sound that blends indie rock, grunge, and alt-pop, the band’s songs explore themes of youth with emotional intensity and authenticity. The Irish band Florence Road has been confirmed to perform on July 11 at the Heineken Stage at NOS Alive 26.
Alessi Rose

Ticket prices
These are, for now,the firstconfirmations for one of Lisbon’s biggest music festivals, but we hope to announce more news, at least by Christmas, when ticket sales for NOS Alive are expected to pick up.
