Bisque Bistro
Bisque Bistro is a restaurant that combines the elegance of Parisian bistros with the creativity of contemporary gastronomy.
Inspired by French tradition, the menu features the classic lobster bisque, as well as dishes such as beef bourguignon, octopus with potato gratin and original desserts such as cardamom cheesecake.
The atmosphere is sophisticated and welcoming, with décor reminiscent of Paris, including a charming terrace and an open kitchen where you can watch the dishes being prepared.

Guelra
Located in Belém, the Guelra restaurant is a reference point if you enjoy signature cuisine focused on fresh fish and seafood.
With the motto “Ocean to Table”, Guelra presents a creative and contemporary menu, signed by Chef Gonçalo Gonçalves, which combines global techniques with excellent Portuguese products.
Here you’ll have a distinctive gastronomic experience, such as the seven-moment tasting menu, as well as à la carte options, always with surprising proposals and ingredients from the sea.

Timeless
One of Lisbon’s newest restaurants, Intemporal, is located in Paço de Arcos (we’ ve already written about it).
It’s also the latest project by well-known chef Miguel Laffan, located in the former Casa do Fiscal, next to the seafront, where each season inspires an exclusive tasting menu with fresh, seasonal produce presented in creative combinations that combine Portuguese tradition and global influences.
The space is intimate and sophisticated, with just 12 seats in the main room and four at the Chef’s counter, providing a personalized and immersive dining experience.

Duro
There’s more and more “gastronomic life” in the Santos neighborhood, now that the Duro restaurant has opened, which pays homage to Lisbon’s 20th century classics, combining Portuguese tradition with French and Spanish influences.
The menu, signed by Chef Sandro Farinho, includes dishes such as Chateaubriand, Polvo à Galega, Arroz de Forno de Robalo e Gambas, and a showcase of fresh fish and seafood prepared to the customer’s taste.
On Sundays, the highlight is Cozido à Portuguesa à discretion for €25, and from Tuesday to Friday there is an executive menu at affordable prices, and a sophisticated and lively atmosphere, with a resident DJ and a cosmopolitan vibe. Duro also offers free private parking for customers, making a visit even more convenient.

ARC Lisbon
ARC is Lisbon’s new restaurant and dining club, created by the same owners of Cuá Cuá, Bliss, Torremar and Burguesinha, under the culinary direction of Chef Luís Campos, trained at Le Cordon Bleu in London.
Inspired by the South of France, ARC promises a sophisticated gastronomic experience, with a strong Mediterranean inspiration and a fusion of flavors that evoke St. Tropez and the Côte D’Azur.
The atmosphere is elegant, festive, intimate and exclusive, and was designed for those who value good food, fun and a cosmopolitan atmosphere, in a space with 76 seats,

Traffic
If you’re planning to visit the Docas de Santo Amaro in Alcântara soon, take the opportunity to visit the Tráfico restaurant, which offers a fusion of Mediterranean flavors with a privileged view of the Tagus , a relaxed atmosphere, terrace and cocktail service.
The concept, led by Chef Manuel Águas, celebrates the diversity of cuisines from Portugal, Spain, Italy and Greece, reinterpreting classic dishes with creativity and fresh ingredients.
On the menu, which is divided into two sections: “routes” (appetizers and main courses) and desserts, we highlight the slow fermented slices with truffled butter, the potato tortilla with crispy ham, the carabineros rotos eggs, the tempura-fried cod, the lamb kebab, the suckling pig belly and the innovative Tráfico stew.

BAZ
One of Lisbon’s newest and most innovative restaurants is located in the heart of Lisbon: BAZ combines restaurant, bar and music in a sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere.
Created by Mazen Abdallah and his family (wife and brother), it offers a complete sensory experience, with signature dishes with Lebanese, French and Japanese influences, signature cocktails and a careful musical program.
The menu is seasonal and short, with highlights such as milk-fed veal, wild sea bass with caramelized fennel, foie gras burger and desserts such as tiramisù and pain perdu.

Primo’s Lisboa
One of the newest Italian restaurants in Lisbon, it’ s located in Santos and even hides a small speakeasy bar (Bar None) if you want to go unnoticed.
It stands out for its fusion of tradition and creativity, in a space with a cozy atmosphere and modern and vintage decor designed in detail by the founders, creating a unique and relaxed atmosphere.
The menu celebrates authentic Italian cuisine, with truffle pizzas, risottos, fresh pasta and starters such as eggplant caponata, always using fresh, quality ingredients.

Orla Marisqueira
Under the baton of Chef Hélio Gonçalves, Michelin-starred in Singapore with Iggy’s restaurant, Orla is one of the most modern seafood restaurants in the capital, combining national tradition with new techniques for serving ingredients from the sea.
The space is very bright, comfortable and minimalist, with aquariums and displays of live seafood in plain sight.
On the menu you’ll find classics such as Ameijôa à Bulhão Pato, Lobster with Arroz Malandrinho de Peixe, as well as many other proposals, always innovative and very fresh.

Fratelli Brutti
We’re invited to go there in the meantime, but until then let me tell you that this place is characterized by being a relaxed Italian trattoria. It’s located in Bica and was created by two brothers who happened to have their grandmother’s recipe book.
So at Fratelli Brutti you’ll find authentic comfort food in a cozy atmosphere, with just 32 seats, Italian music blasting from an old record player and a menu that includes starters such as burrata and focaccia; fresh pasta, handmade Neapolitan pizzas; and classic desserts such as tiramisù and pavlova.
The wine list also includes Portuguese wines and national craft beers.
