Lisbon has more and more new and surprising restaurants. However, this is not a scenario that is restricted to the capital. So, if you like to eat by the sea and enjoy the best of life, then there’s a new spot waiting for you: the Intemporal restaurant, located in Paço de Arcos.
The restaurant is relatively new and stands out not only for its sophisticated and welcoming décor, but also for its history. After all, before becoming a restaurant, this 20th century building served as the Casa do Fiscal, where the fish tax was collected.
Today, this new restaurant in the municipality of Oeiras promises to be a meeting point for locals and beyond, focusing on regional cuisine, but also on the seasonality of the products; all of this is the responsibility of chef Miguel Laffan.
The restaurant’s proposal is simple: to rediscover the taste of what is pure and seasonal, respecting the time of each ingredient. For me, each season brings new inspiration, and that’s what I want to share with my customers,” says chef Miguel Laffan, in a statement sent to Lisboa Secreta.

Miguel Laffan is responsible for the menu, but the sommelier Luís Figueirinha, who has worked in several renowned national restaurants, is in charge of the wines.
As far as the decor is concerned, the project belongs to Paula Arez, who designed an intimate atmosphere in a space with 12 seats on the upper floor and 4 special seats at the chef’s counter.
