Known for its irreverent spirit, the “restaurant with rooms above” Mama Shelter offered us a turnkey experience, with everything we could ask for: drinks, food, and plenty of entertainment.
We’re talking about a really fun (and quite affordable) service that this venue has offered since September of last year, but which we’ve only just managed to take advantage of.
The “perfect” group dinner
We know all too well how difficult it is to schedule a dinner with friends at a restaurant in Lisbon. Beyond everyone’s busy lives, finding the perfect balance between a quality meal and a party atmosphere is a real challenge.
But once we discovered this offer, everything became easier and faster, because no one will want to miss an all-inclusive party with prices starting at 14 euros.
Mama Celebration was designed not only for this type of gathering but also for birthdays, work promotion celebrations, or even bachelor parties— in other words, if there’s a reason to celebrate, Mama Shelter “organizes” the party.
Our experience, and the instruction manual for an epic night
We took advantage of Mama Shelter’s invitation during one of the company’s recent team-building events and ended up enjoying a very fun… and delicious night.
The Mama Celebration dining and party experience was designed for groups of up to 12 people looking for more than just an à la carte service: we entered into a true collective ritual with moments happening all the time, making the gathering more dynamic and lively all night long; it was truly epic!

Two ways to celebrate at Mama
Now for the “worst” part: how much does a party like this cost? Actually, considering everything you’ll get, we don’t think the price is too high.
Available exclusively for dinner, Mama Celebration offers two distinct options, so you can tailor it to your budget and group size:
- For larger groups (minimum 12 people) opting for the Group Menu, the Celebration supplement is priced at €14 per person;
- For small groups (minimum 8 people), without a Group Menu, the complete experience costs €21 per person.
Whatever your choice, reservations are always required at least four days in advance via email.
