K-pop (short for Korean Pop, South Korean pop music) is a global phenomenon that is gaining more and more fans in Portugal. An example of this was the huge Music Bank World Tour show , which took place on September 27 at the Meo Arena, with all tickets sold out. After that, there’s now another novelty: Twice’s debut in Lisbon (and Portuguese territory).
Twice are one of the biggest female K-pop groups in the world, often mentioned with the likes of Blackpink. And in 2026 it will be possible to attend their first ever concert in Portugal, at the Meo Arena, on May 9.
This show comes as part of the European leg of the “TWICE <THIS IS FOR> WORLD TOUR”, which will also pass through other major cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, London, Berlin, Barcelona and Cologne.
In Portugal, the concert was announced by promoter Live Nation, which also said that general ticket sales will be available from October 9 at 10am, although prices have not yet been announced.
