Lisbon is the city of our hearts, but sometimes we like to get out of the capital to explore some of Portugal’s ‘hidden treasures’ – and if they’re refreshing, even better. That’s why, this time, we’re going to take you diving in a unique place in the heart of the Costa Vicentina: Furnas Beach.
Located in the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, this beach is just a few minutes from the center of Vila Nova de Mil Fontes. It’s a very popular place for families, where even dogs are welcome. This is because, since 2021, there has been a dog-friendly area.
