After the farewell to the ‘dear month of August’, it seems that the rrentée cultural Lisbon is livelier than ever… and there are events, literally, for all tastes. From initiatives dedicated to the medieval era to music festivals, such as Piano City.
This is the first time that the event has been held in Lisbon, from September 27 to 29, promising to liven up the afternoons and evenings of three beautiful gardens publics, namely:
- The garden of the Palácio Galveias Library, a stately home dating back to the 17th century
- The Coruchéus Garden
- The City Museum Garden – Pimenta Palace, within which is the Bordallo Pinheiro Garden.
After its success in several Italian cities, but also Madrid (Spain) and Athens (Greece), Piano City, created by German musician Andreas Kern, is now coming to Lisbon. According to a statement from the organization, the programme is diverse and includes more than 30 open-air concerts, in which the piano takes centre stage.
Piano City Lisboa highlights
