With the arrival of cooler days, it’s normal to start packing away your shorter summer clothes with a “see you next year!” look. It’s time to start preparing the first fall plans!
But this phase doesn’t have to be so nostalgic and difficult (we know, we also love the heat, the beach and the sea). Remember that, over the next few months, Lisbon will change, it will have different colors and, of course, lots of things to see and do, many of them free (or almost).
We’re sure you ‘ll make the most of it and, in no time, you’ll forget the milder days of summer.
Come on! Here are our suggestions for these first cooler months of fall.

The shows take place on various days of the week in sessions that are sure to be remembered.

The best brunches in Lisbon are here
Natural juices, eggs benedict, pancakes and cakes await you at the most anticipated meal of the day. These brunches are here to stay and are a great idea to complete your list of fall plans.
And we Portuguese love it! It’s so nice to wake up late at the weekend and, without even passing through the kitchen, go straight to one of these restaurants, which serve the best brunches in Lisbon.
The towns and cities around Lisbon
We’re crazy about the Travesseiros of Sintra, the beaches of Oeiras, Cascais and Sesimbra, the fish and seafood of Setúbal, the ginja of Óbidos and the giant waves of Nazaré.
That’s why we went to each of these 10 places to get to know them better and, of course, to convince you that they are places of incredible beauty that deserve a longer visit. Come aboard on this journey through some of the most beautiful places near Lisbon.
Visit to the Pharmacy Museum
The first part of your fall plans can close with this suggestion. Between Bairro Alto and Bica, just up from the Miradouro de Santa Catarina (Adamastor), you’ll find a museum that may go unnoticed, but which preserves the history of our health.
The Pharmacy Museum goes back much further than you might think: more than 5,000 years have been revisited, from Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, Rome, the Incas, the Aztecs, Islam, Tibet, China, Japan to the present day.
“Fever apetecia-me algo…”. E voilà, centenas de planos cool em Lisboa!
