The Lisbon Festivities are almost over, on June 30, and there were so many activities in so many other spaces and neighborhoods where you could have fun, whether you’re a Lisboner or a visitor who never misses one of the most incredible festivities in the country.
There isn’t a Lisboner who doesn’t look forward to these days of fun in the city, which for a month have been closer to artists, collectives, marchers and, of course, all those who keep this neighborhood festival alive.
What to see, hear, do… and eat
During the month of June, the city was a veritable festival stage, with concerts to see and hear and, of course, plenty of grilled sardines to eat.
Between the traditional Marchas Populares parade , which returned to Avenida da Liberdade on June 12, it was a month full of activities , with dozens of events and 15 festivals, including concerts, cinema, theater and exhibitions, festivals and Santo António weddings , all sponsored by Lisbon City Council and EGEAC.
Lisbon Festivities program
The Lisbon Festivities program opened even earlier in June, with the Marches performing for the first time to the public, and in front of the jury, at the MEO Arena on May 31, June 1 and 2.
Tony Carreira and Richie Campbell are the artists invited to close this year’s Festas de Lisboa program, taking to the stage in Praça do Comércio at the end of June, on the 29th and 30th.
