Marvila, more specifically the central square of Prata Riverside Village, will be transformed once again this year with the SO!CHRISTMAS event, which has free admission and will host world champions and circus, right next to the Tagus.
On November 29th, between 2pm and 7pm, the shopping center will be transformed into an open-air Christmas event, with a different proposal that will bring a lot of entertainment, culture, Santa Claus and the inauguration of the Christmas tree lights to our river.
World-class hip-hop and circus from Chapitô
After the success of the first event, the organization is betting on a reinforced line-up that mixes traditional Portuguese commerce with “golden” entertainment.
That’s right, gold, because SO!CHRISTMAS has secured the presence of the Arcade Dance School, a school that recently won the gold medal at the Hip Hop Unite world championships.
But that’s not all! As well as elite dance, the circus arts with Chapitô’s seal of quality will also be coming to this square, where there will be three moments of entertainment throughout the afternoon.
Market, Santa Claus and Christmas Tree
As you might expect, all families will be able to enjoy Santa Claus, elves, balloon modeling and the traditional story time, as well as the Christmas tree lights being switched on as soon as it gets dark, at 6pm , accompanied by the Lisbon Community Choir.
