To celebrate Carnival with all the merriment that the occasion deserves, the municipality of Cascais has prepared a program full of activities, running from February 28 to March 8.
In a statement sent to Lisboa Secreta, the organization said that the programme is diverse, promising to cover kids and adults with various initiatives, such as:
- Live music
- Artistic performances
- Activities for the little ones – especially at Quinta do Pisão, where various themed and creative workshops will take place
- Processions and parades
The highlight of Carnival in Cascais will be the vibrant corsos and parades, full of floats and creative costumes. Between March 1 and 4, the program gets even more intense, with special attention to the iconic Corso de Janes and Malveira da Serra.
To experience Carnival to the full, the agenda also includes dances and themed parties, inviting everyone to immerse themselves in the joy and celebration of life. Information on the detailed program can be found here.
