Before summer comes to an end, there’s still time to raise a glass to craft beer at sunset, with the sea as a backdrop , as “BEERiceira – Craft Beer Fest” returns . The 4th edition of this craft beer festival will take place at Santa Marta Park in Ericeira from September 4 to 6.
For three days, beer takes center stage with more than 20 Portuguese breweries and special guests from Ukraine and Denmark. In total, more than 150 craft beers with different profiles and flavors are set to be featured. And that’s not all, because visitors can also toast with cider, kombucha, cocktails, and lemonades.
Much more than just beer
Craft beer, of course, takes center stage. However, the “BEERiceira – Craft Beer Fest” program extends beyond the art of good drinking.
In this regard, there’s a cultural aspect worth highlighting, including specialized talks aimed at brewers and industry professionals, as well as sensory hop experiences open to the general public. Additionally, “BEERiceira” features guided tastings dedicated to dark beers, IPAs, and beer cocktails, available by prior registration.
But there are even more activities waiting for you. At an event by the sea, with the sunset lighting up the scenery, there’s sure to be plenty of entertainment, including live concerts and DJ sets. And the kids aren’t left out either, with a children’s area and mini-golf on hand .
As for the food, you can look forward to internationally inspired street food, featuring flavors from around the world to pair with the festival’s beers.
