Normally, all of the Portuguese national team’s matches are shown on free-to-air channels, but watching the ball at home isn’t the same as joining your friends and family on one of Lisbon’s terraces and cafés, where you can celebrate the goals of the Portuguese national team, or your club of heart, in a more effusive and exciting way.
That’s why we’ve created a list of places in Lisbon where you can watch all the national team’s matches (as well as the others) while drinking a cerveza and tasting some snacks until the end of the championship.
Table Of Contents

Irish&Co
Parque das Nações is one of Lisbon’s favorite places to watch the various soccer matches, from various championships… at least the most important ones.
The huge terrace full of screens and the outdoor space are just some of the reasons why Irish&Co has been chosen as one of the best places to watch soccer outdoors in Lisbon.
The other reason? Well, obviously the beers, always fresh from the cask.
Address: Rua da Pimenta 57-61 (Parque das Nações)

The Couch Sports Bar
This is undoubtedly one of Lisbon’s best-prepared bars for watching the matches of your national team or club of heart.
We’re sure that, if you like the atmosphere, it will be your second home for the duration of the championship. And, of course, it has a spectacular terrace.
Address: Rua do Alecrim 21A (Cais do Sodré)

Beer Museum
The huge terrace of the Museu da Cerveja, located in Praça do Comércio, could be the alternative you’ve been looking for to watch the next soccer matches, especially as it’s in a square where you can then celebrate your favorite team’s goals with other fans.
Address: Terreiro do Paço, East Wing 62 to 65

Velho Mirante
We went there recently, both to see the place and to taste some of its delicacies (it has new management), and learned that it will be showing this weekend’s Lisbon derby, which could win the championship for one side of the Segunda Circular. Take the opportunity to follow the game with some of the house snacks and, at the end, celebrate in style with one of the many dishes (and wines) on offer at this renovated restaurant in Pontinha.
Address: Rua de Santo Eloy 2 (Pontinha)

The Fighter
This friendly space with a terrace is one of our favorite places to eat snails in Lisbon, but the truth is that for watching football matches, it’s second to none on this list. A typical restaurant for socializing with friends, you can’t find a better place in Alcântara to watch the decisive moments of this championship.
Address: Rua da Junqueira 1C (Alcântara)

Galeto
A true Lisbon icon, open since 1966, the well-known and emblematic counter is the right place to watch the ball… or to eat after watching the game in the stadium. The atmosphere is welcoming, complemented by several TVs, making it ideal for following matches or socializing until late.
Address: Avenida da República 14 (Saldanha)

CR7 Corner Bar & Bistro
There’s nothing better than watching the ball at the home (or rather hotel) of our very own Cristiano Ronaldo.
Address: Rua da Prata 26 and Rua do Comércio 54 (Baixa)

Hamburgueria da Parada
It’s already an obligatory stop to watch the ball in Campo de Ourique, right in the center of Jardim da Parada.
And for this tournament, they’re back with a projector so you don’t miss a single spectacular moment of this championship.
Address: Jardim Teófilo de Braga (Campo de Ourique)

Kiosks on Avenida da Liberdade
This place is already a tradition whenever there is an important match for Portuguese soccer teams.
So this year will be no different, with several kiosks on Avenida da Liberdade filling up with football fans who want to see their team champion once again.
Address: Avenida da Liberdade
