Located on the reservoir of the Albergaria dos Fusos dam, near Vila Ruiva (municipality of Cuba), this fine white sand beach is one of the best suggestions just two hours from the capital, right in the heart of Central Alentejo, and is ideal for families and groups of friends, who can enjoy nature and two floating pools (one for adults and one for children).
Inaugurated in 2023, the long sandy beach of Praia Fluvial de Albergaria dos Fusos is part of the Alentejo Central Ecopark complex and offers excellent conditions for water sports, as well as unique days of leisure and relaxation, with a direct connection to nature.
The water offers mild average temperatures and has an Excellent three-star rating from the Portuguese Environment Agency. It is also supervised between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. for a total length of 80 meters.
