If you’re not already familiar with it, the Google Arts & Culture platform is an online project that allows you to access thousands of high-resolution images of works of art exhibited in hundreds of museums around the world.
When the world was confined within four walls, museums had to close their doors for health reasons, and many of them started offering virtual tours, some of which were paid for, but which are now openly available so that everyone can admire their works without leaving home, without paying for a ticket and without queuing.
Some of the museums you can visit:
The MoMA, the Van Gogh Museum, the National Gallery in London or the Palace of Versailles, as well as the national Museu do Azulejo, Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga or the Museu Calouste Gulbenkian are just some of the more than 3,000 collections you can find on this platform.
