De 4 a 6 de outubro, o 8.º aniversário do Museu de Arte, Arquitectura e Tecnologia (MAAT) promete animar a zona de Belém. A programação inclui diversas atividades gratuitas, assim como um evento inovador — a Block Party at MAAT, que vai trazer muita música afro-house e eletrónica.
Inspirada nas block parties (festas de rua) popularizadas em Nova Iorque, nos Estados Unidos da América (E.U.A), nos anos 70, a “Block Party at MAAT” vai contar com a presença de vários artistas.
Mas já lá vamos, antes é pertinente salientar que a festa de aniversário propriamente dita apresenta uma fusão de música, gastronomia, um mercado e, claro, arte. Afinal, é de um museu que se trata.
O que esperar da Block Party at MAAT (e não só)?
A Praça do Carvão vai ser o epicentro das celebrações do 8.º aniversário do MAAT, incluindo performances, visitas, oficinas e food truck. O programa conta ainda com o The Spot Market, onde os aficionados de moda e lifestyle podem encontrar peças de joalharia, decoração e artesanato.
O acesso às atividades gratuitas decorre entre as 12h00 e as 19h00. Contudo, há uma exceção: a Block Party at MAAT. Ou seja, a 4 e 5 de outubro (sábado e domingo, respetivamente), a partir das 20h00, é necessário pagar bilhetes, desde 25€.
No dia 4 de outubro, entre os nomes musicais confirmados para a Block Party at MAAT constam, por exemplo, Groove Armada, DOT e DJ Shugi. Já no dia 5 de outubro, Pablo Fierro, Raffa Guido e Megatronic são os responsáveis por animar o serão.
