The lineup for the first day of NOS Alive’27 has added another big name: The Strokes will perform on July 8 on the NOS Stage.
They join the previously announced acts The Neighbourhood and Beirut at the 19th edition of the festival, which takes place on July 8, 9, and 10.
A comeback with a new album

The band returned to the studio in 2026 with *Reality Awaits*, their seventh studio album. It explores new sounds while retaining the riffs and choruses that have made them instantly recognizable from the very beginning.
Formed in 1998 in New York, The Strokes are among the most influential names in alternative rock of the past few decades.
Their debut album, *Is This It*, was released in 2001 and includes “Last Nite,” “Someday,” and “Hard to Explain.” This was followed by *Room on Fire* (2003), *First Impressions of Earth* (2006), *Angles* (2011), and *Comedown Machine* (2013). In 2020, *The New Abnormal* earned them the Grammy for Best Rock Album.
In the setlist for NOS Alive 2027, songs like “Reptilia,” “Under Cover of Darkness,” and “You Only Live Once” are expected to take center stage.
