Tarot, astrology, runes, and other esoteric traditions will once again take over the former military complex in Barcarena, Nirvana Studios, in Oeiras.
The Occult and Esotericism Fair returns on October 17 and 18, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and admission to the venue is free.
This is already the third edition of the event, organized by Filipa da Silva, creator of Tarot da Filipa—a weekend-long event in a space that brings together exhibitors, readings, lectures, workshops, performances, and activities in which the public participates.
What’s new at the 3rd edition of the Occult and Esotericism Fair
The fair opens with a Prosperity Ritual open to all visitors—a collective moment of intention and celebration. This is followed by the Mantle Parade, which blends symbolism, expression, and performance.
Among the new features is the Oracle Challenge, a live experience that brings different oracular practices into dialogue and involves audience participation.
Those attending with children will find a workshop for the little ones, designed as a playful first introduction to this world. In the performing arts section, a fire show adds a more visual and theatrical dimension to the program.
One of the major new features this year is the provision of Portuguese Sign Language interpretation for the lectures and workshops, so that more people can follow the program.
