Exploring a city on foot, absorbing its culture and ‘discovering’ even the most secret corners is something that always tastes good. But what are the most walkable cities in the world? A recent study by Insider Monkey gives us the answers we’re looking for.
According to the survey, cited by Forbes, there are 30 cities in particular that stand out when it comes to travelers enjoying the destination at their own pace. Portugal has two mentions in this ranking… and Lisbon is one of them.
What was the study’s methodology?
To carry out this study, Insider Monkey used various sources and platforms, including Tourlane and Walkscore.
In addition, account was also taken of the distances to be covered between the main tourist attractions.
At the same time, air quality data (IQAir) was analyzed and safety indexes (Numbeo) were considered.
