This will be the 6th edition of the MOGA Festival in Caparica, an unmissable experience of electronic music and bohemian culture that promises to transform Praia da Morena between May 28 and June 1.
The event will bring together more than 90 national and international DJs, as well as offering a diverse program that combines various forms of art with the leisure and relaxation that comes with being on a beach.
Music, beach, sun, gastronomy and much more
The MOGA Festival is much more than just electronic music. It’s a real opportunity to unite with Gnawa art and culture. And that’s precisely why this festival’s program is so diverse.
Among the first names already announced are some of the biggest icons in electronic music, such as DJ Harvey, Blond:ish, Jamie Jones, Richy Ahmed and Shimza, Luciano, Lovefingers and Sainte Vie (live).
Among the national highlights, DVDE, Megatronic, Cruz and Dolce Vito are sure to do the honors with exemplary performances.
More than just an electronic music event, the MOGA Festival is a true celebration of a relaxed lifestyle, so in addition to the music, it will include a very interesting parallel program of cultural, gastronomic and sporting activities, as well as free talks.
You’ll be able to enjoy the entire program in various locations on the Costa da Caparica, which are intended to promote interculturality and values such as sharing and well-being.
More than 25,000 festival-goers expected
Since its inception in Essaouira, Morocco, the MOGA Festival has always made itself known as an event that connects people from different cultures around music and art.
The MOGA Tribe (#MOGATribe), as the global community that grows with each edition of this festival is already known, continues to bring together festival-goers from Portugal and Morocco, and this year more than 25,000 are expected over the five days.
For Matthieu Corosine, co-founder of the festival,
MOGA is more than a festival; it ‘s a transformative experience that celebrates cultural diversity.”
