This year, the Seixal municipality has spared no effort to surprise all those who decide to go to the south bank to enjoy a magical Christmas, full of attractions that promise to enchant young and old alike.
In addition to the attractions that are already part of this event’s identity, such as the imposing Giant Christmas Tree, the welcoming Santa’s House, the beautiful Parisian Carousel and the panoramic Ferris Wheel, this year’s Aldeia de Natal do Seixal will also offer novelties for all ages, designed to further innovate the whole family experience. Shall we get to know them?
A bigger Ice Rink and new attractions
One of the major attractions at Seixal’s Christmas Village will be the Ice Rink, which this year is much bigger, offering more space to skate (and fall) even more safely.
Also new are the two new rides that promise to be a sensation this season: the Bee Cup Ride and the Sakura Tree Cherry Ride, two rides that promise to bring unforgettable moments of joy to everyone.
What to do in Seixal’s Christmas Village
We remember that the big moment of these days was the arrival of Santa Claus at this authentic amusement market in Seixal, when this Christmas symbol, much loved by all children , landed in Seixal Bay.
If you managed to catch this moment, congratulations! If not, don’t worry,there will be many more moments like this in the coming days:
- Christmas Concerts:
- Between December 6 and 20, music will echo through the municipality’s churches and the Municipal Auditorium of the Seixal Cultural Forum;
- Act of Struggle and Demand:
- the agenda of the Seixal Christmas Village will also serve to demand a promise, that of the hospital promised for this part of the country, with the social and civic show “Another Christmas without a Hospital in Seixal”, on December 6 at 3:30 pm at the Sociedade Filarmónica União Seixalense;
- Walks on the Tagus:
- an opportunity to board one of the traditional Tagus boats, in a unique experience overlooking the bay;
- Christmas Market and Street Food:
- There’s no Christmas Village without its market and, of course, plenty of seasonal food and drink. Here you’ll find around 30 craft stalls and a street food area with typical delicacies;
- Workshops and family activities:
- In this village there are always things to do with the family, with a full program that reinforces the Christmas spirit.
