The housing crisis has never been talked about as much as it is now. Values are reaching such high levels that they even prompted a public intervention by the artist Bordalo II, which was widely shared on social media. But the question is: which are the most expensive streets to buy a house in Portugal?
According to a study carried out by Idealista, the top 10 is led by the exclusive Urbanização Quinta do Lago (located in Almancil, in the Algarve). According to the data sent to Lisboa Secreta, a property in this location cost an average of 8,106,364 euros in July.
Completing the luxury real estate podium are: in second place, Rua Soto Maior (in Sintra), with an average price of 3,912,000 euros; and soon after, in third place, Avenida dos Descobrimentos, in Faro, with an average value of 3,797,450 euros.

The methodology
For this study, the real estate platform only considered the absolute average price of apartments and houses advertised on the same street.
In order to avoid distorting the data, only streets with a minimum of 10 advertisements available online were analyzed, eliminating duplicate properties.
