Get ready because this summer is going to be the most cultural ever! MAAT has just announced an innovative initiative that promises to win over your most artistic and art-loving side, the “MAAT Happy Hour”, which will take place during the hottest months of the year.
In a nutshell, “MAAT Happy Hour” is a campaign that will allow you to enjoy the museum’s exhibitions at extended times and at affordable prices, between June and August:
- On Fridays and Saturdays, MAAT will be open later, from 7pm to 9pm, allowing you to visit the exhibitions in a quieter atmosphere;
- Ticket prices will be lower, making the experience more accessible: €5.50 for residents of Portugal and €7.50 for non-residents, which translates into a 50% reduction from 7pm onwards.
The featured exhibitions
During these hours, you’ll be able to visit all the exhibitions on display at MAAT, including the eagerly awaited “Miriam Cahn – O que nos olha” and “Lápis de pintar dias cinzentos – Obras da Coleção de Arte da Fundação EDP”, which opens on June 26.
After the visit, there’s another offer, this time gastronomic, and it’s right next door, at the MAAT Kitchen restaurant, which is joining the party with exclusive menus and prices for those who take advantage of the “MAAT Happy Hour” campaign.
Now you know, Fridays and Saturdays are days of culture in the evening, through a different and innovative experience, where the highlight will be the smaller number of people, the more accessible prices for everyone and, of course, ending the day with a special meal, with a privileged view of the Tagus River
If you’re looking for a different cultural experience, take advantage of the “MAAT Happy Hour” to explore the museum at the end of the day, with fewer crowds, more friendly prices and the chance to end the visit with a special meal. An unmissable suggestion for those who want to enjoy the summer in the city in a creative and inspiring way.
