What’s changing in Cacilhas?
On weekdays, the first ferry now departs at 5:00 a.m. (20 minutes earlier than before). The last ferry will now run until 2:30 a.m. (50 minutes later than the previous schedule). On weekends and holidays, there will now be four additional daily crossings.

In Barreiro, the changes affect weekday mornings, with the addition of two daily trips. During weekends and holidays, everything remains the same.
Why these changes?
The measures are being implemented by Transtejo Soflusa (TTSL), and President Rui Ribeiro Rei explained that between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m., despite having a capacity for about 700 passengers, several ferries depart completely full. This increase is intended to directly address this high demand.
