Lisbon is often positively highlighted in world rankings for a wide variety of reasons. For example, it was recently named one of Europe’s top cities more offers on summer activities. However, the case changes when we talk about Lisbon airport.
In the AirHelp Score 2024 Humberto Delgado Airport is at the bottom of the rankings,,and is close to the bottom of the international rankings.
According to the study, quoted by Jornal de Notícias, out of a total of 239 airports out of 70 countries, Lisbon is ranked 234th, with 6.59 points (on a scale of ten).

According to the same source, one of the main reasons for this classification is the successive delays.
Lisbon airport scored just 5.8 points.
The other Portuguese airports
According to the AirHelp report, Porto’s airport is at the forefront of the market in Portugal, in 117th place.
Faro Airport came 185th in the international ranking.
