This year, many Christmas markets will be returning to their usual locations, such as the Christmas Kingdom in Sintra, which this year will be held for almost the entire month of December, from December 1 to 30, in Parque da Liberdade, in Terreiro Rainha D. Amália, and with the collaboration of the NewsMuseum.
Christmas entertainment, Christmas Solidarity and, of course, the train and the Christmas market, will once again fill these places in Sintra with magic , always with free admission.
Concerts, circus and videomapping
From Thursday to Sunday, Parque da Liberdade will be transformed into an even more magical place, with all visitors to the Christmas Kingdom enjoying free entertainment and circus, videomapping and music shows, in an incredible setting where the town of Sintra is dressed up for the Christmas celebrations.
To date , no further information has been released about this year’s program, which we will continue to monitor.
However, we do know that, next to the Palace, the Terreiro Rainha Dona Amélia will become a real meeting point and the place chosen for the Sintra Christmas Market, which this year will have even more stalls where you can buy unique Christmas gifts or indulge in delicacies typical of the festive season, from December 1 to 30, Monday to Sunday, from 10am to 7pm .
It’s also in this square that you’ll be able to admire the huge Christmas tree in Sintra, which is sure to be the subject of many photos to share on social media.
As in previous years, the NewsMuseum will be joining in the Christmas Kingdom celebrations by hosting a NewsTV activity with a report on the Christmas Kingdom.
Admission to the Christmas Kingdom is free, but visitors are invited to offer a non-perishable food item or animal feed or blankets that will certainly help improve the lives of the families and animals that benefit from the support of social solidarity associations.
