After selling out the MEO Arena in just six hours, Iron Maiden promise to continue making history with the Portuguese public. And there’s already a date for their next reunion: the heavy metal giants will bring music to Lisbon’s Estádio da Luz on July 7, 2026.
In a statement sent to Lisboa Secreta, Prime Artists, promoters of the show, announced that the Portuguese capital is part of the “Run For Your Lives Tour 2025/2026” world tour. In this context, the concert by the British group led by Steve Harris and Bruce Dickinson promises to be even bigger and better than usual.
The fans have been incredible, the line-up is perfect for the 50th anniversary, the show is probably our best ever and the demand for tickets has been extraordinary, with practically everything sold out and over a million fans in attendance”, said Steve Harris about the “Run For Your Lives Tour 2025/2026”, quoted in a press release.
What to expect from the Iron Maiden mega-concert?
Formed in London (UK) in the 1970s, Iron Maiden need no introduction, standing out as one of the most influential heavy metal bands in the world. It’s worth noting that the group has a special connection with the Portuguese public.
That’s why the show at the Estádio da Luz in 2026 promises to be unforgettable, to say the least, with “a monumental celebration of music, theater and collective memory. A larger stage, immersive scenery and breathtaking visual projections,” the statement said.
The line-up is expected to remain faithful to the concept of the “Run For Your Lives Tour 2025/2026”, covering the first Iron Maiden albums. So get ready to hear some real classics from the band, such as “The Number Of The Beast”, “The Trooper” and “Hallowed By The Name”, among many others.
