The passageways of the Lisbon Metro and some train stations will feature live music throughout the month, from October 9 to 30.
The “There’s Music at the End of the Tunnel” event is now in its 6th edition, this time featuring 49 showcases and two Charity Galas with free admission. There will also be three performances per day at each station. Let’s find out where!
Where to see the showcases in the Lisbon region

In yet another initiative by the National Coordination of Mental Health Policies, music has been used since the very first edition to spark a conversation about mental health. While it does not replace clinical care when it is needed, it can help people express their emotions and seek support.
The first venue to host this year’s event is the Algés Train Station on October 9, featuring some projects that have participated in previous editions.
On October 21, music comes to the Amadora Train Station with a showcase featuring projects by ETIC students.
On October 22 and 23, the stage moves to the Lisbon Metro, at the Cais do Sodré, Marquês de Pombal, and Jardim Zoológico stations , with performances by ETIC students at Cais do Sodré and Jardim Zoológico as well .
Afterward, the tour continues to other stops around the country:
- Aveiro (October 26)
- Porto Metro (October 27 and 28, at São Bento, Campo 24 de Agosto, and Casa da Música)
- Braga (October 29)
The Charity Galas: free admission and stand-up comedy

The two galas will feature an acoustic, intimate format, and this year both are free:
- Oeiras, October 10, at 9:30 p.m.
- Barcelos, October 30, at 9:00 p.m.
Donations from audience members will go to an organization to be announced by the National Coordination of Mental Health Policies.
