The story begins in 2012, at number 70 on Regueirão dos Anjos. It was just a market for clothing, accessories, and other items, but it quickly built a community. It was called Feira das Almas and for years became one of the most anticipated events on Lisbon’s creative scene. Then it became Anjos70. Then it lost its venue. Then it moved around Marvila, Alvalade—wherever there was room.
This Saturday, June 6, it returns—and it does so in style: at Largo do Intendente, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with free admission.
What to expect
The main highlight is the market. It features dozens of stalls by local artists and small businesses. From new and used clothing, jewelry, home decor, and cosmetics to plants, with a special focus on independent and authentic creators.
This is the kind of fair where you go without a list and come back with things you didn’t know you needed. In addition to the stalls, there will also be live music and outdoor workshops, including one on soft soldering, scheduled for 1 p.m.
A story with many lives
Feira das Almas has been moving around the city in search of a home since 2022, when it left the Anjos space for good after the building was sold. Largo do Intendente, known for its unique energy—a balance between the historic and the contemporary—seems like the perfect setting for this special anniversary edition of the project. Fourteen years of the fair, of community, of curated secondhand goods. It’s worth checking out.
