The EVILLIVE Festival has just announced its return to the MEO Arena in 2026, marking a significant transition after the three-day edition held at the Estádio do Restelo.
The Heavy Metal event, which is scheduled for July 5, 2026, returns to a concentrated, single-day format, promising a “maximum intensity” experience at Lisbon’s main indoor venue.
Marilyn Manson, Megadeth, and Mastodon are confirmed

The organizers of EVILLIVE Festival have revealed the first five names on a lineup that will consist exclusively of internationally renowned artists.
Marilyn Manson is the main highlight of this first wave. The American artist returns to Portugal at a particularly interesting moment in his career, after recently selling out Sagres Campo Pequeno, where he reaffirmed his stage magnetism.
Accompanying Manson, Mastodon brings Atlanta to Lisbon. Considered masters of progressive metal, the band is going through one of the most solid creative phases of its career, recognized for the artistic rigor and emotional depth of its compositions.
The latest confirmation is Megadeth, with the legendary American band, led by Dave Mustaine, “landing” in Lisbon for one of the concerts on their farewell tour.
Long-awaited returns
Another of the biggest surprises in this announcement is the confirmation of the legendary The Gathering. The Dutch band, pioneers of European atmospheric music, will perform in Lisbon reunited with iconic vocalist Anneke van Giersbergen. This reunion will allow fans to revisit the catalog that redefined melodic metal in the 1990s.
Closing this first batch of confirmations are the Swedish band Imminence. Representing the new generation of European metalcore, the group stands out for its fusion of cinematic melodies with a strong visual aesthetic, and is considered one of the leading names in the renewal of the genre.
