TripAdvisor’s annual Traveller’s Choice awards were recently announced, taking into account the beaches with the most excellent reviews over the last 12 months. At the top of the ranking is Isla Pasion in Mexico, followed by two Greek beach destinations: Elafoniss Beach and Balos Lagoon, both in Crete.

Located between Vilamoura and Albufeira ( specifically in Olhos de Água), Praia da Falésia ranks fifth in TripAdvisor’s Traveller’s Choice.
“Falésia Beach is known for its impressive cliffs, golden sand, and sparkling blue waters. Sunbathe on the huge coastline, swim or body surf in the waves, or stroll along the scenic trail at the top of the cliffs and enjoy incredible views,” reads TripAdvisor.
