The countdown to Christmas has officially begun, with Lisbon shining even brighter with the typical decorations of the season. Christmas classics, markets and attractions attract the attention of kids and adults alike and initiatives are multiplying, such as the Cascais Christmas Village.
The event was inaugurated on November 22, but runs until January 4, 2026. During this period, Marechal Carmona Park is transformed into a real Christmas Village, with countless attractions designed for the whole family.

“An expanded area”
This year, the area of the Cascais Christmas Village is larger than in previous editions.
The space is designed to make the most of outdoor experiences. However, with the arrival of cold temperatures, it includes covered areas, various food trucks and craft stalls.
Reindeer, Santa Claus, ice rink and more
The enclosure looks like a sort of mini-Lapland, where even the real reindeer haven’t been forgotten to bring the enchanted forest to life. Santa’s house , the elves ‘ workshop and the traditional Parisian carousel could not be missed.
There’s also a Christmas train, tree climbing circuit, trampolines, shows, ice rink and ramp, Christmas market, mini-roundabout, among other attractions that promise to bring a lot of smiles.
Inspired by the birth of baby Jesus
According to the Cascais Christmas Village presentation, visitors can travel back to the time of baby Jesus’ birth. How? By recreating a Nazarene village, featuring a Roman camp and the three Wise Men on real camels.
Prices for the Cascais Christmas Village
The Christmas Village is organized by Unisports, with the support of Cascais Town Hall, but it’s important to note that access to the venue is paid for.
Tickets can be purchased online and these are the current prices:
- 12€ for children aged 3 to 12 and over 65s
- 14€ for 12 to 65 year olds
- Free entry for children under 2
For those who prefer to enjoy the whole experience as a family, there are special packs with the following prices:
- 48€ for two adults and two children
- 59€ for two adults and three children
- 70€ for two adults and four children
