Christmas is just around the corner, let alone the return of one of our favorite Christmas markets: the Campo Pequeno Christmas Market, one of the oldest in the city, celebrating its 13th edition this year.
The long-awaited return of the Avenidas Novas Christmas Market to the emblematic Campo Pequeno once again “eschews” mass production, dedicating itself exclusively to creatives, designers, producers and entrepreneurs who focus on quality, art and small-scale production.
So if you’re looking for a unique gift that tells a story, reflects a personal signature and stands out from the ordinary, this market is your must-visit destination.
A Christmas Market in “two parts”
Over 160 creators will be bringing the best in design, fashion, toys, books, art, ceramics, lifestyle and gourmet products to the Campo Pequeno Christmas Market throughout the event.
However, to ensure that variety and novelty are always present, the market is structured in two distinct phases, bringing together a total of around 80 brands per period:
- First Phase: from November 28 to December 1
- Second Phase: from December 5 to 8
But that’s not all! This year, in addition to the shopping experience, you’ll be able to enjoy Creative Workshops, open to all ages, which invite you to “get your hands dirty” and actively get into the Christmas spirit. This is the ideal opportunity to slow down and create something with your own hands, with the guidance of local talent. The proposals for 2025 include :
- Ceramics and Clay
- with Rosário Santos (29/11 and 6/12) and Bailhamedeus Cerâmica (1/12), to create stars, decorations and bring clay to life;
- Sustainable cooking
- with actress Mafalda Teixeira, who presents Funny Cook Natal (29/11, at 4pm), a cooking workshop focused on healthy eating for the family;
- Handicrafts
- learn Cross Stitch with Gritt Ernst (30/11) or make your own Christmas cards with Ludicenter (1/12 and 6/12). Bruna Lucena teaches you how to embroider a Christmas tree (5/12).
The Campo Pequeno Christmas Market will be open from November 28 until December 1, and then from December 5 to 8, from 11am to 9pm.
The decorations will also include Christmas lights to take kids and adults on a cozy journey to the best of Christmas.
Address: Campo Pequeno Leisure Center
Hours: from November 28 to December 1; and from December 5 to 8, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
