The CA Vilar de Mouros Festival, the oldest in Portugal and one of the oldest on the Iberian Peninsula, has confirmed its return in 2026, the dates and the first name on the line-up.
According to the organization, quoted by Expresso, the ‘Portuguese Woodstock’ will once again animate the picturesque Minho village for four days: August 19, 20, 21 and 22, 2026.
The first confirmation
To cheer up fans of the festival, the first confirmation for 2026 was also announced. According to Expresso, the Belgian band Triggerfinger will be bringing music to Vilar de Mouros.
They are a rock band born in the 1990s, known for their influences and energetic style, with sounds that mix hard rock, blues rock and indie rock.

This announcement comes in the wake of the 60th anniversary of the CA Vilar de Mouros Festival, which has featured names such as Da Weasel, James, The Kooks, Refused, I Prevail, among others.
