Lourinhã is a famous destination, especially because of the Dino Park, the largest open-air park in Europe. Recently, however, the Portuguese town has once again been the focus of attention, as it has reached a milestone thanks to Brickopolis.
At the beginning of April, the title of “World’s Largest Lego Diorama” with 70 square meters was awarded to a large construction that represents Portugal, in particular the region around Lisbon and some coastal areas.
According to Lourinhã Town Hall, the iconic representations and historical events include, for example:
- DinoParque Lourinhã
- Houses on the Costa Nova
- The Great Wave of Nazaré
- Medieval recreations
- Lisbon Airport in the 1950s, among others.
