Since the pandemic, remote working has grown to the point where it has become a way of life for many individuals. Although some recent news reports point to a decline in certain cases, the remote working model continues to be a reality.
In this context, it is interesting to look at the study by PR digital agency Reboot Online, which reveals that “the number of countries with digital nomad visas has increased by more than 4000% in the last 30 days, showing a strong interest in living and working in warmer climates”.
In the report sent to Lisboa Secreta, two conclusions stand out, namely the presence of two Portuguese cities in the top 10 – Lisbon and Porto. But before we understand where they are, it’s important to understand the study’s methodology.

It should also be noted that countries with temperatures below 15 degrees were excluded from the index.
