The mission of one of the newest burger joints specializing in smash burgers is to be “ready to ruin your white shirt, ” which means their pressed burgers are so sinful that you’ll devour them without caring if the sauce drips down your hands, or even if you get dirty… because every stain on your clothes will be worth it.
Open since July 2026, this small burger joint located on Restelo’s busiest street (Rua Duarte Pacheco Pereira) encourages you to eat with your hands, to feel the texture of the meat, and to take that risk: the risk of getting dirty while enjoying the dining experience.
And that’s exactly what we went there to do: try their “best seller,” which, in this case, features crispy bacon and a sauce with a subtle hint of barbecue— perhaps a bit too subtle, but we’ll get to that.
From the aesthetics to the delicious, yet mild, flavors

The space perfectly reflects the vibe of this street— relaxed and trendy. The interior is compact and minimalist, furnished with small round tables and metal stools. On one of the walls, the menu comes to life through three creative illustrations on skateboards, showing all the layers of the burgers, which can be customized to each customer’s taste.
The real highlight of this burger joint is outside: the facade with red neon lights opens onto an incredible outdoor seating area with Portuguese cobblestones, surrounded by the greenery and palm trees characteristic of this street in Restelo. It’s the perfect refuge for the hottest sunny days.
With about 30 seats available, between the indoor area and the lush outdoor terrace, Feisty stands out as a must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates the authenticity of a good smash burger.
A taste of the “Spunky Bacon”: a heavyweight that could have even more flavor

The menu is intentionally short, focusing on just three options:
- Cheeky Cheese (€9.90)
- Sassy Salad (€9.90)
- Spunky Bacon (€10.90)
We got right to the point and ordered the Spunky Bacon, served with fries and a drink, all for €14.90.
If you’re looking for a burger to satisfy a serious hunger —or the perfect cure for a hungover Sunday— this is the right choice. It’s a very meaty and unapologetically “heavy” option . The meat is very flavorful and delivers exactly what you’d expect from a well-executed smash burger: that famous crust with thin, super-crispy edges.

We did notice, however, that the burger becomes slightly “heavy,” a factor we think stems from the generous two slices of melted cheddar cheese that “bind” all the ingredients together, but in a way that makes this smash burger a bit dense.
The artisanal bacon is a novelty in this type of burger joint, smoked over fruitwood. The pickles, meanwhile, are homemade and provide an excellent contrast in textures.
As for the sauce, it’s barbecue-based and ends up being almost imperceptible; we were told this is a deliberate choice so as not to overshadow the flavor of the meat, which also stands out for being a Spanish cut with only 20% fat, but for those who prefer more aromatic condiments, it could be a bit more prominent.
As a side, the house fries (Friesty’s for €3) deserve a special mention. Despite their lighter color— which at first glance doesn’t seem like the epitome of crispiness—they’re deceptively good: they’re surprisingly crunchy and become incredibly addictive when paired with the house -made fry sauce .
The menu is small, but there’s plenty to try

To balance out the meal’s savory flavor, Feisty also offers traditional soft drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, as well as its exclusive Elderflower Soda, a kind of lemonade with floral and fruity notes.
For those with a sweet tooth who want to prolong the experience, there’s a soft-serve ice cream machine that evokes nostalgia for the 2000s, with several topping options: Plain, Oreo & Nutella, and Biscoff.
If you’d rather get your T-shirts dirty on the couch, you can also order these smash burgers on Glovo, Uber Eats, and Bolt Food.
