Atenção: o nome oficial da ponte que atravessa o rio Tejo ainda é Ponte 25 de Abril, mas o motor de busca, através do seu serviço de mapas Google Maps, voltou a “batizar” esta travessia como Ponte Salazar, sendo que agora existem os dois nomes.
Entretanto, já hoje, dia 1 de março, voltou tudo ao normal, com o nome de Ponte Salazar a ser retirado dos mapas da Google.
Segundo a empresa americana, que prontamente deu conta do sucedido, corrigindo-o, indica que os seus sistemas automáticos, assim como o seu pessoal qualificado neste tipo de serviços, facilitou o processo de qualquer utilizador denunciar falsos locais e conteúdos, mantendo o Google Maps um sítio confiável.
Ainda há muitas pessoas que usam o primeiro nome dado a esta ponte, inaugurada em 1966, que mudou para Ponte 25 de Abril aquando da Revolução dos Cravos, faz 50 anos no próximo mês de abril.
