Há um novo hotel “verde” em Lisboa que aposta num novo conceito de eficiência energética e de sustentabilidade.
Apoiado numa construção passiva, que tem como objetivo construir edifícios altamente eficientes ao nível da energia despendida, assim como bastante confortáveis ao nível de aquecimento e arrefecimento, este conceito visa utilizar, ao mínimo, sistemas ativos como o ar condicionado.
O primeiro hotel e edifício em Lisboa – em em Portugal – baseado neste novo tipo de construções é o recém inaugurado JAM Lisbon, que foi criado e desenhado por artistas portugueses e belgas.
O que tem para ser tão eficiente
Requer algum pensamento estratégico pensar como se podem criar condições de confortabilidade num hotel “verde” para que este garanta altos níveis de eficiência energética, mas a verdade é que já existem estruturas e mecanismos para que tal seja possível, bastando para isso aplicá-los de uma forma, digamos, engenhosa.
No caso do JAM Lisbon, o consumo mínimo de energia está presente na utilização de painéis solares e num sistema de recuperação de calor para a água do duche. Mas não só!
Os bancos, as cadeiras e os sofás do lobby deste hotel reaproveitam materiais que já foram usados para outras finalidades, e até nos quartos se podem encontrar mobiliários adaptáveis a futuras necessidades, pelo que todo o material que podemos encontrar neste hotel poderá ter uma segunda utilização.

O novo hotel JAM junta o melhor dos dois mundos na capital portuguesa. A arte de conviver aliada ao turismo sustentável e, acima de tudo, consciente. Além disso, não queremos esquecer as suas raízes, por isso preservámos ao máximo a estrutura inicial e reaproveitámos todos os materiais que foi possível.”
Outra das apostas da construtora belga é tornar-se parte da comunidade que a rodeia, criando ligações sociais com, por exemplo, artistas e designers locais. Recordamos que, não muito longe deste hotel, fica o Design District, em Santos-o-Velho.
Alguns serviços do hotel JAM Lisbon
A mais recente unidade hoteleira da capital fica mesmo de frente para o rio Tejo, e está preparado para oferecer a todos os seus hóspedes tarde e noites muito divertidas, de copo na mão e a provar algumas tapas, tanto na área de restauração principal, o MOJJO, como no “Cabana Rooftop“ com piscina e bar.
Pelo que podemos verificar numa rápida visita ao site do hotel, esta unidade está ainda apetrechada com um estúdio de música e disponibiliza espaço para pequenos concertos, team buildings e casamentos.
Permite ainda o alojamento acompanhado de animais de estimação. Na parte doe contras está o facto de não possuir parque de estacionamento e também não tem área de ginásio ou health care… pelo menos para já.
