Confessamos já que Queens of The Stone Age é uma das nossas bandas de rock preferidas. Adoramos cada riff de guitarra de Josh Homme e companhia, e só temos pena que o concerto não seja mais perto de Lisboa. Afinal, o Festival Vilar de Mouros ainda fica a mais de 400 quilómetros da capital… o que se traduz numa viagem de 4 horas, nada que um fã mesmo fã se importe de fazer para ver uma das super-bandas do momento.
E ainda bem que começam já a aparecer estes grandes nomes da música mundial para os principais festivais de verão. É que juntar dinheiro para todos estes artistas não vai ser nada fácil, não é?
A primeira confirmação do Festival Vilar de Mouros
Vilar de Mouros é sobejamente conhecido pelos seus festivais de música, que desde sempre encheram de acordes estridentes a zona minhota do país.
Os norte-americanos QOTSA são a primeira grande confirmação para o mais antigo festival de música da Península Ibérica, que este ano acontece nos dias 21, 22, 23 e 24 de agosto.
Os donos de sonoridades como “Song For The Dead”, “No One Knows”, “Make It Wit Chu”, “Little Sister” ou “Go With The Flow”, entre muitos outros, trazem até ao Minho o melhor de Stoner Rock e Rock Alternativo que o mundo já sentiu no peito.
Estarão pelo Festival Vilar de Mouros no primeiro dia dia cartaz, 21 de agosto, o que se traduz na desculpa perfeita para visitares o Norte de Portugal.
Os bilhetes para o evento, que é organizado pela Surprise & Expectation, pelo Município de Caminha e pela Junta de Freguesia de Vilar de Mouros, já se encontram à venda, sendo que a entrada diária custa 50€ e o passe geral 125€.
