The NOOD spaces are very affordable and, at the same time, have very tasty menus, so they are on our list of favorite Asian restaurants in Lisbon. The fact is that these – extremely well decorated – places take you on a journey through the different Asian latitudes, with dishes from almost every country under this culinary influence.
And it’s all the fault of Chef Bruno Gomes, who, menu after menu, continues to push the boundaries of contemporary Asian cuisine, combining tradition, creativity and sharing at the table. And that’s precisely why we went to try some of the new delicacies on the winter menu at these restaurants.
TASHŌ: concept inspired by the Japanese philosophy of sharing

As you can see from the photos already displayed here, the latest sharing concept at NOOD restaurants comes in small pots, a clear inspiration for the Portuguese cuisine served in this type of container, which is always warm and full of delicious comfort food.
TASHŌ, which in Japanese can mean “a little”, translates into a simple concept: a little of everything for everyone, ideal for a sharing experience for two or even among a group of friends.
NOOD presented four of these little Japanese pots, and we tried them all:
- Thai Tiger (17,50€)
- Tiger prawns with yuzu and mango salsa, accompanied by coriander rice and red curry;
- Coconut and Chilli Soba (13,50€)
- With fresh noodles, chicken, coconut milk and lime, wrapped in a sauce of roasted peppers and finished with crunchy chicken;
- Topokki (14€)
- Korean rice rolls with bacon in a creamy gochujang sauce and mozzarella cheese, served with chicken katsu;
- Kinoko (12,50€)
- The vegetarian version of gohan rice with eryngi and shiitake mushrooms in teriyaki, corn with miso butter, avocado cream, cherry tomatoes and takuan.

The Secret Lisbon experience
By far, our favorite was the Thai Tiger, not only because it’s a small pot that perfectly serves two people, but also because of the fresh and very well combined ingredients , with the mango salsa standing out as the most refreshing element in a spicy curry broth.
The Soba is also quite refreshing, despite the voluptuousness of the thick noodles; and the Topokki, although we’re not so fond of Korean rice rolls, turns out to be ultra delicious, thanks to the bacon and the melted mozzarella cheese; as for the vegetarian version, it’s capable of “filling” anyone’s stomach, thanks to the dense and large eryngi mushrooms.
The new Kurimi Ramen

We haven’t tried it yet (we will soon), but Chef Bruno Gomes has also presented a new ramen to face these increasingly cold days, the Kurimi Ram en, which stands out for its fresh noodles, creamy chicken broth, miso and gochujang tare, chashu pork, ramen egg, chives and corn with miso butter, in what is the Chef’s translation of a true bowl of comfort.
Here are the notes of what this ramen will be like: dense, velvety and rich in flavor, with a broth that combines sweet and spicy flavor nuances, perfect for savoring with time.
According to Chef Bruno Gomes,
TASHŌ and Kurimi Ramen reflect the essence of NOOD, a modern and creative Asian cuisine that values authentic flavor, sharing and the pleasure of every meal. They are new proposals that perfectly complement NOOD’s menu.”
Both offers are now available in all NOOD stores.
