As we count down to the start of the 4th edition of the festival (from June 19 to 21), the organization is once again promoting the MEO KALORAMA ON TOUR initiative. With three free events , the idea is to ‘infect’ the city of Lisbon with the energetic and multifaceted spirit of the music event.
The program includes artistic interventions, DJ sets and showcases, bringing together artists from different areas. The kick-off is scheduled for May 23, between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m., with the inauguration of “Arte na Bela Vista: Lisboa – A Green City”, taking place in Parque da Bela Vista.

“Art in Bela Vista: Lisbon – A Green City”
Curated by Underdogs, “A Green City” is an artistic intervention by Mafalda Gonçalves. The aim is to highlight Lisbon’s sustainable and ecological character through a large-scale painting.
What does this mean? Well, with more than 2,500 square meters, the intervention will be visible from the sky, serving as a kind of welcome postcard for all those arriving in the capital.
As already mentioned, the inauguration is scheduled for May 23rd, between 16:30 and 17:30. In addition to the artistic intervention, the cultural agenda includes a showcase by The Black Mamba. Access is via the Bela Vista Park portico and is free to all.
Corner Takeover
MEO KALORAMA ON TOUR continues with another event on May 29, between 6pm and 10pm. In this case, the initiative joins the Corner , one of the city’s busiest kiosks.
There, two DJ sets promise to liven up this corner of Lisbon, with Rúben da Cruz and Ari Girão, two well-known names on the Lisbon nightlife scene, providing the music.
Sunset El Corte Inglês
To finish on a high note, MEO KALORAMA ON TOUR is promoting a very lively sunset at El Corte Inglés, on June 5, between 6pm and 10pm.
Yen Sung and Kierastoboy were the artists chosen to close this initiative with a ‘golden key’. There was also a live painting by Pitanga, an artist curated by Underdogs.
