What can you expect from the 2027 FORMULA 1 LENOVO SPANISH GRAND PRIX?
It will be held, for the second consecutive year, at MADRING, the new circuit inaugurated at the IFEMA Madrid complex, which features a semi-urban layout.
With a length of 5.4 kilometers and 22 turns, the main attraction is “La Monumental,” a 550-meter-long turn with a 24% gradient.
If you’re lucky enough to secure seats in the outdoor stands at Turn 13, you’ll have the best view of this highlight.

It’s also worth noting the MADRING Circuit’s excellent location : it’s situated right within the capital itself, offers very easy access by public transportation— just two minutes from the Feria de Madrid metro station — and is also close to Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, less than 10 minutes by car or less than 20 minutes by metro.
But who will be competing in 2027? It’s still too early to know the final lineup, but we can naturally expect the current leaders in the standings, such as Antonelli, Russell, Hamilton, Norris, Leclerc, and Verstappen—and, of course, Spain’s top driver, Carlos Sainz.
It’s also likely that the legendary two-time champion Fernando Alonso will make an appearance again, although his future remains a big question mark.
