Lisbon and Fortaleza are going to be closer than ever, thanks to the recent announcement by Latam Airlines Brazil. As of April 7, the two destinations will be linked by a weekly direct flight.
According to Público newspaper, the Fortaleza-Lisbon route will run once a week between April and October 2025. The flight will depart from the capital of the state of Ceará at 6.15 a.m. (local Brazilian time) and take off from Humberto Delgado airport at 6.30 p.m., always at the same time.
The direct flight will last 7h30 and will be made on Boeing 787 aircraft, with capacity for 30 passengers in business class, 57 in economy+ and 213 in economy.
According to Público, this will be the company’s first flight between north-eastern Brazil and mainland Europe since 2009. Have you got the urge to travel?
