Tapada da Ajuda
A drone show set to the music of Vivaldi and Tchaikovsky
While the visual spectacle of the drones is already a major attraction, the soundtrack is certainly no less impressive. To live up to the name“DroneArt Show: Four Seasons,” a talented quartet will take the stagefor about an hour to perform some of classical music’s most iconic works, including compositions by Vivaldi and Tchaikovsky.
In addition, the event is expected to coincide with other international performances, featuring food trucks and a wide selection of beverages to complement the visual experience.
Already in the skies, various figures promise to light up the nights at Tapada da Ajuda, with more than a thousand drones forming ballerinas, objects, and magnificent animals that are sure to remain in the city’s memory.

A show in a historic location
Classified as a Property of Public Interest since 2002, Tapada da Ajuda is a botanical park covering approximately 100 hectares, located in Alcântara. In the past, it served as a hunting reserve for the Portuguese royal family; today, it is home to the campus of the Instituto Superior de Agronomia.
In this area, the gardens, arboretums, agricultural areas, and a viewpoint with a sweeping view of Lisbon and the Tagus River stand out. But that’s not all—the venue chosen to host the“DroneArt Show: Four Seasons” alsoholds a true hidden treasure: the century-old Astronomical Observatory.
